Quick Tip: Essential Oils on Your Sleeve!

Recently, during a walk with Antigone, a thirteen-year-old student struggling with anxiety, we visited APAVITA, a local shop specializing in natural cosmetics. We explored various essential oils, and just one breath of Jasmine reminded her of her favorite aunt, Androulla, who makes her feel secure, loved, and happy. We decided to buy a small bottle of Jasmine, applying a drop to Antigone’s sleeve.

Now, the scent of Jasmine serves as a comforting reminder for Antigone, encouraging her to breathe deeply and feel secure. I also use this technique: a drop of peppermint essential oil on my scarf helps me stay calm and focused during stressful situations.
